Maggie Clarke – Director
Maggie set up XTRAX in 2001 as an arts development and event delivery organisation, and it remains one of the leading outdoor arts and events organisations in the UK.
XTRAX has run numerous showcases to promote UK artists to an international audience, as well as supported the development of outdoor shows from diverse artists in the UK, and programmed and delivered successful festivals, conferences and events for clients including Arts Council England, Greenwich+Docklands International Festival, Mintfest, Fuse Medway Festival, Manchester City Council, Liverpool City Council to name a few.
Maggie has worked in a variety of producing and development roles for a number of venues and festivals, including working for (now defunct) fringe theatre Greenroom; Oldham Metropolitan Borough Council; and for numerous touring theatre and performance companies. She has also worked as a sponsorship consultant, managing corporate sponsorships for a number of festivals and events.
Maggie is considered one of the UK’s leading specialists in international streets arts and is dedicated to running projects which position the UK’s outdoor and festival sector as been amongst the best in the world.

Anaïs Biaux – Project Manager (FR)
Currently on maternity leave
Anaïs Biaux is a bilingual (French-English) Project Manager with extensive knowledge of the street arts sector in the UK and internationally. Before moving to the UK, Anaïs worked on a number of well-established and high profile Street Arts festivals in France and Belgium including Chalon dans la Rue and Les Invites de Villeurbanne.
Anaïs has developed expertise in touring and audience development through her work as Manager of the Without Walls Associate Touring Network, a consortium of UK festivals working together to extend the reach of the existing Without Walls programme and to deliver an ambitious programme of Audience Development initiatives across the UK. The success of this project has been felt across the UK.
As Assistant Producer for Wired Aerial Theatre, she supports the development of the company’s new productions and looks after the touring of the successful large-scale show As The World Tipped when it travels to French-speaking countries.
At XTRAX, she also contributes to the management and delivery of all XTRAX projects, including events such as the Greenwich+Docklands International Festival Showcase and other professional events and discussions delivered during the year. Her work leads her to travel regularly to festivals in the UK and abroad and to see lots of exciting work in various contexts.

David Morgan – Project Manager
David joined XTRAX in November 2016 as Project Manager with principle responsibility for managing Without Walls.
David has spent over ten years producing touring theatre, dance and visual art projects in both indoor and outdoor contexts. He has extensive experience of managing arts organisations and has produced work on all manner of scales with artists from a diverse range of cultural backgrounds. He has also worked as an Artistic Assessor for Arts Council England.
Originally from Scotland David has a passion for new work, especially when it has a taste of the anarchic. He also has a particular interest in environmentalism and promoting sustainable practice.

Irene Segura – Project Manager (ES/ FR/ ENG)
Having trained as a dancer in London (BA Dance Theatre) and with an academic background in Arts Management and Show Production, Irene’s passion for the performing arts is undeniable.
Her experience in project management for cultural, corporate and academic events over the past years makes her a creative and decisive professional with great adaptability skills.
Born in Barcelona, Irene’s involvement with the creative industries has led her to work in the production and touring of site-specific projects and outdoor festivals, as well as being a manager for award-winning company La Intrusa.
Fluent in Catalan, Spanish, English and French, Irene contributes to the management and delivery of XTRAX’s international projects, while at the same time assisting with the production and touring of Wired Aerial Theatre’s creations.

Annika Edge- Project Manager (Maternity Cover (GE/FR/ ENG)
Annika is an experienced project manager and theatre producer. She studied European Media Culture in Germany and France before she did her Masters in International Events and Festival Management at Edinburgh Napier University.
She has extensive event management experience, having worked on festivals and events in Europe and New Zealand, before managing Manchester’s 24:7 Theatre Festival for over 2 years. She also managed a development scheme for young creatives and co-founded a theatre company.
Fluent in German, French and English, Annika is working on XTRAX’s international showcases as well as assisting on the development of Without Walls’ associate touring network.

Chris Bryerley – General Manager
In his role Chris is responsible for supervising all aspects of XTRAX’s administrative functions, including financial management. He works across all projects within the organisation, as well as providing company management support to Wired Aerial Theatre.
Throughout his career, Chris has worked at a range of arts and media organisations, social enterprises and festivals, developing a broad skill base and a set of experiences that find him well placed to work centrally in a small organisation with large ambitions such as XTRAX.
Chris is passionate about all forms of culture and is committed to art as a tool for transformation; both culturally and socially. Outside of work he particularly enjoys live jazz and swing dancing.

Matthew James Belfield - Communications Manager
Matt ensures that XTRAX has a dynamic, clear and creative stream of communication about the organisation and its many projects. This includes all aspects of the management of the Without Walls, Without Walls Associate Touring Network, Wired Aerial Theatre and XTRAX national and international showcases.
Matt has an academic background in cultural studies and events management, and his communications career kick-started in Liverpool where he worked with a number of well-established cultural events, festivals and worked with most of the city’s theatres, developing their marketing and press campaigns and expanding his network within the city’s culture sector.
At XTRAX, he manages and co-ordinates the production of all creative media and content including film, print, E-marketing materials and implements the company’s marketing and PR campaigns.
At the age of 14, Matt was handpicked by the late Sir Terry Pratchett (his favourite author) as the winner of a creative writing competition.

Elena Cavallero – Administrator
Elena is responsible for assisting in all areas of the company’s work, with a focus on marketing delivery and project administration.
Born in Italy, Elena’s love of the arts, festivals and all things related to communicating and organising events has been in motion for many years. With an academic background in Arts Management, she has worked with a number of cultural organisations in Italy, just before moving to Manchester to complete her MA in Cultural Policy.
She found her passion for administration and arts marketing during her busy year working at The University of Manchester while organising secret gigs in Manchester with Sofar Sounds and planning a music festival to fundraise for Oxfam.
In her spare time, Elena is involved in the Manchester music and cultural scene by attending or volunteering at as many events as possible.
