A myth that comes from the Middle East, from the poem "The Conference of the Birds\" a Farid al- Din" Attar’s Persian text from 1177, it talks about the fall of the "city of the birds" among men and the birth of their mentor, Simurgh. From the fall on earth attempts to fly again to the fratricidal struggles: two factions of birds make war at the city’s borders to elect its leader. Simurgh is a dream, a vision that appears and vanishes in front of the audience’s eyes thanks to eight actors-stilters that manoeuvre a steering stage machinery, two musicians, with their original music, offers ethnic melodies that capture and interact with the stage intensity of stilters.

Simurgh is a suggestion to talk about flight, attempts, falls and to put them on stage with the instruments of street theatre: stilts, stage equipment, interaction with music. The atmosphere that is created results in a dream enriched by the wonder of magic.
