XTRAX is looking for a dynamic Programme Manager with excellent management skills and an enthusiasm for outdoor work to take a leadership role in the planning and execution of our busy programme of work.

This is a new senior role in a very successful creative company. The post-holder will work closely with the Director as part of the Senior Management team, planning and supervising the successful delivery of all aspects of XTRAX programme, across the UK and internationally with a particular focus on the delivery of the work of Without Walls, a new National Portfolio Organisation of Arts Council England, managed by XTRAX.

The role provides strategic leadership to the project management team and other relevant staff, partners and contractors, ensuring that the correct resources are in place for the successful delivery of the agreed programme of activity, and reporting regularly to Arts Council England, Board Members, partners and funders. The post-holder will also take a lead in fundraising for our projects, scanning the horizon for new opportunities that will add value to the existing programme, raising the profile of the organization and pitching for new funds, partnerships or development opportunities where appropriate.

XTRAX is seeking an experienced General Manager to underpin the operations of our small, hardworking team and to assist us in the delivery of our work across our range of projects and events.

This is a full-time role in a busy creative company, and we are seeking a dynamic individual who is keen to work within a growing business. All our projects are driven and developed by our committed team of creative professionals based at our office in Manchester, and it is important to us to find someone who enjoys working as part of a small and mutually supportive team

The post-holder will take an overview of the work plan of the organisation taking responsibility for financial management and reporting; H.R. and staffing; contract management; organisational planning; and supervision of all aspects of the organisation’s administrative functions.

The post-holder will also take a lead on the financial management of our major project, the management of the Without Walls consortium, a commissioning and touring partnership of 18 outdoor festivals that has recently been made a National Portfolio Organisation (NPO) of Arts Council England.
