XTRAX Shorts at Out There Festival 2017

Saturday 16 September – 10:00 – 12:00

Venue: St George’s Theatre, King St, Great Yarmouth, NR30 2PG

XTRAX’s popular brand of artists pitching will be heading to the Out There Festival showcase.

Artists and companies will give creative presentations about new outdoor projects in development to an audience of UK and international festival and event representatives, producers, and outdoor arts professionals. XTRAX Shorts are followed by networking sessions, providing those in attendance with the opportunity to find out more about these upcoming productions.

XTRAX Shorts support artists by giving them the opportunity to present projects in development to people who can potentially commission, present or support in other ways, including in-kind or low-cost provision of rehearsal space, mentoring, or advocacy. For festivals and event producers, it complements the showcase programme by providing them with an opportunity to network with others in the sector, and to find out about new work.

Opportunities to get involved with XTRAX Shorts will be announced soon.

It is a great opportunity for artists to present to a room of potentially interested stakeholders their ideas, concepts and dreams. Artists need as many opportunities as possible to do this and the XTRAX Shorts is a highly significant platform for them.
