Katrina joined the team in 2019 and supports XTRAX’s international showcasing work as well as the delivery of the Without Walls programme which includes the management of strategic projects relating to Audience and Digital Development as well as developing artist commissions.
Katrina’s experience is rooted in arts management and audience development with past experience managing marketing, communications and talent development campaigns with multi-artform venues and sector support agencies in Manchester. Before working at XTRAX Katrina worked with HOME, Manchester’s centre for contemporary theatre, film, art, music. Also Walk the Plank, one of the UK’s leading outdoor arts producing organisations with an international reach based in Salford and Redeye, the Photography Network.
Katrina’s academic background includes a Master’s in Arts Management and Cultural Policy from the University of Manchester and an undergraduate degree in Contemporary Fine Art from Sheffield Hallam University. Katrina also sits on the University of Bolton’s, Industry Advisory Board for Photography and has a keen interest in developing both audiences and talent in the arts
