Our performances include diverse formats from theatrical indoor stagings, site specifics, parades on land or river, in-situ rituals on riversides, lakes, parks, market squares/unconventional dance spaces/streets or… why not try us with any other innovative idea?
The professional cast is leaded by Myriam Ojeda-Patiño-artLAT’s Artistic Director and Choreographer-, Visual Art Director Raul Ordoñez, a multi award winner and leading float artist from Colombia’s Carnival of Blacks and Whites and Venezuelan Music Director/Arranger Wilmer Sifontes.
“The Amazonas Spectacular performance brought a brand new culture and flavour to the festival which was extremely exciting and uplifting. The energy in the show was infectious, and it was a fantastic opening to the Out There Festival weekend. The volunteers that took part were so excited to be involved, and will remember their experience for a lifetime. Thank you all for your tireless hard work and dedication to making this possible”.
