Boudicca

The Wheelabouts produce mobile street theatre pieces built around wheelchairs, and their latest show takes us on the Roman road with Boudicca.
Boudicca’s, chariot and mechanical puppet horse will move slowly around an area, pausing regularly to interact with children and adults alike. Amassing her army of little Celts, and marking their faces with blue Woad, Boudicca’s stunning chariot and mechanical horse scour the countryside looking for Romans to pick on and ‘punish’!
With an onboard sound system, and armed with an arsenal of comedy props and weapons, she is searching for followers to join her army and mete out her justice to the wicked invaders.
With puppetry, props and performance, Boudicca is an exciting gallop, with audience participation and plenty of comic improvisation!
