Chromarama

Chromarama OPEN AIR BALLET SCULPTURE HYBRID
Influenced by Schlemmer’s `Mechanical Ballet` and Kantor’s `emballages`, Chromarama is a nonverbal sculptural ballet evoking the exotic strangeness and richness richness of life’s displays and relationships.
Chromarama is an animation of abstract color released from its depictive duty. The movement of wrapped human forms reconstructs the human condition in a zone of dream and floating meaning. The soundtrack, juxtaposing original sounds with extracts from classical masterpieces, has a powerful emotional cadence that takes the audience on a journey both strange and strangely familiar.
Chromarama has been performed in famous arts locations worldwide; for example the Kennedy Arts Centre in Washington The Sau Paolo Arts centre in Sao Paulo Brazil and the National Gallery London. It has launched the Poznan festival and generally has been enjoyed with equal concentration by adults and children in festivals in town squares all over the world.
