Dead Ends – The art of urban animation is a unique promenade theater performance concept. By the help of the city’s traffic signs as well as creative theatrical, musical and visual illustrative elements, an imaginative story is being told. The performance is created in a new version in every visited place, as local people’s own tales and history are the base for the show. Until today Dead Ends has visited cities in Finland, Spain, Norway and The Netherlands and has been made into a total of 7 different versions.
Dead Ends – The art of urban animation has also been developed as community project in certain cities. Engaging the local community in various ways through workshops, performances and meetings they became a part of the process.
