A 30 minute performance combining contemporary circus arts, puppetry, mask-work and dance. The show follows two characters, a woman and a wolf, as they navigate their intersecting dream worlds. Masks and stilts transform the performer into a creature while the slack-rope, which is essentially a loose tight-wire and is the primary circus apparatus used in the performance, evokes images of walking on air, floating, hovering and at times turns the acrobat into a marionette.
Creation of this project was made possible in part by an Artist Trust Grants for Artists Projects award.
