Funny Faces Parade

Performance can be presented practically in any space of the city or the country. It is based on eight 1,5 meter high masks which animated by our actors picture characters of all cultures and colors of the skin. Along with lively music they create a performance within the audience. The performance, in accordance with the title, is a sort of parade, in which there is no traditionally understood action, and the actor’s activity is animating the masks. The central hero is the above mentioned girl, who meets the strangest creatures. The newly friends are perfect for a merry party, and also turn out to be helpful in getting rid of the malicious pirate. The actors invited the audience to join in the performance, and they retuned it with full understanding and eagerness to cooperate. The happy atmosphere, the optimistic tone, the ingenious and impressing masks all gave the show a very familial character and it were the children who got the most fun of it.
We play “Funny Faces” already in all Poland, Germany (Berlin–Sony Center, Kulturbrauerei, Frankfurt Oder-Europagarten), Holland (Overijssel Op Straat), Czech Republic (Spectaculo Interesse) and Slovenja (Trnfest).
