Considering a thin line in between contemporary movement and circus technique, a creative challenge arises from everyday material. What if simple hoses turned into a disruptive scenic environment? What if industrial tubes would sweetly turn into circus gear? Continuing the work of dramaturgical exploration of recent years, Daniel Seabra proposes to break a new ground searching of a transgressive, intimate and futuristic scenic language.
In this creative process, Daniel intend to trace an avant-garde path in the contexts of movement and circus, through a show that lives from a shifting installation that is constantly contaminated and altered by performance. A living, active and contemplative structure that opens new challenges. To this end, the association with a visual artist for the creation process is an essential link, which, combined with a futuristic and environmental musical composition developed in parallel with the evolution of performance and installation, proposes a multisensory aesthetic, capable of power a complete sensory odyssey from a performative ground.
