La Bomba!

Our new four person performance ‘La Bomba!’ (‘the bomb’)
Sam and Tristan have combined forces with Spanish performers Alfredo Pérez Muíño and Xampito Otero to make this new piece of work. Debuted at Beijing Chaoyang Carnival in 2019, this show extends the company’s performing skills and makes for an even bigger Chipolatas experience!
Flexible in its design, adapting to multiple environments and festival stages, this show can be performed in a variety of outdoor and indoor public spaces.
The performance builds on the company’s extensive experience in producing high quality artistic entertainment. Our inherent style draws on the legacy of street theatre and circus whilst combining with contemporary movement and comedy. Live music and sound design play an important role..composing and creating a high quality original electronic / acoustic soundtrack.
The performance encourages friendship, cooperation and conflict resolution, highlighting the value of respectful communication. We create a performance that is a social shared experience, cultivating confidence and human connection, questioning old ways of being and proposing new ones. Using universal themes the show adapts to and engages with audiences of different ages and cultures.
This performance explores choreography and comic timing, integrating these elements with live music and circus skills. Our work is all encompassing, exploring, experimenting, asking questions, and redefining itself as it evolves.
