The Lampshade Ladies are subtly moving portraits that bring with them a hint of vintage chic, intrigue and quirkiness. They animate the architecture and surroundings wherever they go and fascinate audiences with their enchanting presence.
These shady characters have become a signature walkabout act for Kitsch & Sync, making an appearance in the Guardian and on the Television show ’Have I got News For You’.
They come in many different guises; Vintage evening wear, 50’s house wives, lampshade wedding (bride groom and bridesmaids), lampshade family, Lampshades in nightdresses, lampshade family Christmas, Victorian family portraits plus bespoke acts.
We also have the Lampshade Ballroom which is a 15min interactive/immersive show with 10+ performers. The show begins with captivating group choreography which extends out into the audience who become part of the ballroom.
