‘MEETING MR BOOM!’ is a magical music and dance show for all ages that premiered at London Greenwich Dance March 2014 before embarking on a nationwide tour.
In ‘Meeting Mr Boom!’ a young girl is magically transported to an exciting new world which is constantly shifting; she meets new friends that guide her on a journey of transformation, overcoming fresh challenges and learning to adapt to a beautiful yet unpredictable new environment…
Featuring a lively cast of international performers who dance and play musical instruments, ‘Meeting Mr Boom!’ is performed on an ingenious inflatable set (designed by Ricardo Pardo) that will grow before the audience’s very eyes. Choreography is by Darren Ellis (Mark Bruce Company, Richard Alston, Matthew Bourne, Random), music is by percussionist and composer Ronen Kozokaro (Trinity Laban, Rambert, Matthew Bourne). Together Darren and Ronen have created a highly entertaining show of dance, theatre and music which will take the audience on an imaginative journey of discovery.
