Casting off constraints and performed in open public spaces, DOVETAIL packs a contemporary punch and echoes lived lives; an exposé of two people thrown together by fate and uncertainties, but can they form an unbreakable bond? Charged and highly physical, two skilful performers go the edge of what’s possible, moving between surface and air they converge, lift, fall, slide, collide, rotate, leap and interlock, contending.

Created by Mickaël ‘Marso’ Rivière, his career as a choreographer spans two decades. In this bold brand-new work, Marso reunites with composer and musical collaborator Domenico Angarano and continues to challenge the limits of physicality with his European approach and own visual style, mixing Breakin’, Martial Arts and highly physical contemporary movement with verve.
DOVETAIL has been specifically created for public spaces and audiences of all ages 7yrs+. Best viewed up close on ground-level in the round, three sides, or alternatively from above.
