O2 it’s the most recent creation from Company PIA, a Performance that through the languages of Physical Theater and Animated Forms, invites the public to reflect on how society could survive, where technology fades human relations and the access to oxygen becomes a luxury.
An intercultural public art project, that borns in Macao city, where records of alarming levels of pollutant particles are beginning to recur. An idyllic scenario, but for inappropriate reasons, for the creation of a work that arises with the purpose of sensitizing others to an ever greater need to find sustainable practices as a way to overcome the adverse environmental changes that have become today, transversal to all.
In contemporary times, Art presents the opportunity to inhabit artistic worlds, where creative and critical interrelations stimulate our senses, breaking concepts, hybridizing conceptions, articulating and crossing artifacts and processes, thus opening new possibilities.
