Shiny Shorts sees two dancers in fetching silver shorts doing a series of short dances about trying to stay together. It’s light-hearted and a little unexpected and will hopefully be a delightful interruption to your day.
Shiny Shorts has two aspects: ‘The Shorts’ which travel around the site, popping up in different locations, and ‘The Finale’ which happens in one place. We can perform both aspects of the piece or one of them on their own.
Shiny Shorts was created by Dan Watson in collaboration with Them Two Dance, Katherine Hollinson and Connor Quill.
After premiering at Hypervelocity Festival in Huddersfield and Urban Moves International Dance Festival in Manchester in 2014, Shiny Shorts is now available for touring.
