Giants behaving apparently in a dignified way, players mysteriously walking out in streets and squares, through multicoloured windows and sunny branches in order to spread joy and happiness everywhere.
The characters in the show will dance for the audience creating
unusual choreographies which will draw the spectators’ attentions.
They will present funny actions together with live music and rhythms.
This kind of entertainment will keep the theatrical game strong and dazzling in order to encourage people’s participation.
Music and rhythms range from South-American collection, to
Dixieland, to the Italian one.
“La Festa dei Colori” (The Colours Festival) will open the door to fancy: it will create images from other worlds, mirages brightly coloured by the theatrical event.
The show can either be itinerant (and it made also be divided in
different moments) or stationary in a square. It can be performed for every kind of happening: summer events, Festivals, Carnival,
Christmas, etc.
Working on this new production, Abraxa Teatro has decided to
continue with its research on outdoor performances.
Street theatre is a very important and peculiar artistic instrument
because it enters directly in everyday life, altering its usual shape and
rhythms so to create illusions and dreaming images from an “other
world” which bewitch the spectator because of its charm.
