The Playful Peasants

Category: Show Related artist: The Fabularium Ltd.

The Playful Peasants are a group of medieval villagers who are journeying to foreign lands with The Fabularium. This curious crew have a keen interest to explore, constantly greeting the local townspeople and villagers and learning more about the land they are in, though this can sometimes prove a challenging task as these Peasants only speak in their native tongue of Grammallo, though they have learnt to use gestures to help with their efforts in communication. This entails a lot of mischief as our Peasants know no boundaries, and will explore shops in town centers, stalls at festivals, and any out of bounds areas where they may entertain the public with their troublesome demeanor.

The Playful Peasants are a 3-6 half-mask walkabout troupe that interact and improvise with their audience. Their naivety and friendliness makes them very approachable, and audiences are entertained by their attempts to decipher and understand what the Peasants are asking them. This walkabout act can have a minimum of 3 performers and a maximum of 6.
