Tiny Dance is a bespoke, outdoor project that asks communities what they love about where they live – and then makes a dance about it!
Whether a well known attraction, or a special place that nobody knows about, we turn conversation into choreography, to create a moving celebration of community and the best of the local area.
We spend anywhere between a few days and a few weeks in each place; the results could be a live performance, a film or something else entirely.
Here’s a couple of examples of how it could work in your area.
When we went to Stamford, Lincolnshire in September 2020 it was presented as a live performance at Art Pop-Up’s Secret Doorstep Festival.
When we went to the villages of Laxfield, Risby & Combs in Suffolk in October 2020 it was made into a film inspired by residents who answered the question: “What is your village made of..?”
