Actors of Dionysus (aod) is a Brighton based registered charity and theatre company with 25 years of experience of producing highly visual, radical productions of ancient Greek drama and new writing inspired by myth.
Our main purpose as a charity is to advance public education in the arts with particular, but not exclusive, reference to the art of theatre and Greek classical drama. Our passion is to ensure that this intrinsic part of our dramatic heritage remains accessible to modern audiences, in theatres, in schools and beyond, and we do this by touring productions of Greek drama, offering outreach and participation opportunities for students, and running high profile fundraising events.
