Co.LABse

We are a collective of 9 artists that met for the first time in a workshop on humour and creation in unconventional spaces held by Sergi Estebanell in Barcelona in 2010. Since then, we have been creating various interventions and artistic projects for singular spaces.
What we have taken with us from the past projects is a certain style which could be described as visual, intimate and surprising. We have our roots in street theatre, clown and dance and we are united by our understanding of how to use the performance space and the way we adress our audience as forming part of our theatrical reality. With “Mesa para 2”, we want to find the poetics and details that can be created in intimate spaces and the craziness and improvisation that arise from the contact with the people on the streets.
