Gravity & levity are an aerialdance company specialising in vertical dance performance, world-class artist development and exciting audience imagination.
We create innovative aerial dance that re-defines what a dance floor can both for an audience and ourselves. We’re committed to accessibility and to amplifying alternative perspectives for both dance and aerial circus.
Gravity & Levity exists as a project-based company and has a rich history of collaborating with extremely talented and respected artists, producers and technical management, many over several projects and operating under the Artistic Direction of Lindsey Butcher.
Throughout 2021/2 we have been touring our vertical dance duet ‘Why?’ on our free standing aerial rig and in early 2023 aim to go back into the rehearsal studio to create a new aerial dance trio with live music accompaniment for outdoor touring in 2023 and beyond.
