METRO-BOULOT-DODO (MBD) creates and delivers bespoke experiences that share untold stories to inform, entertain and inspire people from all walks of life.
MBD is an award winning arts & heritage organisation based in Leicester. MBD creates a range of projects to highlight the importance of our shared history. From large scale illuminations to audio tours and immersive VR experiences, MBD creates a range of events that bring communities together.
Established in 1997, the company’s work has spanned street arts festivals, galleries, museums, theatres and site specific work. MBD specialises in projects that share the importance of our shared heritage using innovative interpretation and presentation techniques including VR, projection mapping, bespoke soundtrack and performance. Our shows vary in scale to cater for audiences from solo experiences to large scale spectacles for 5,000 people.
MBD have performed at a number of UK and International festivals including: SIRF, Greenwhich and Docklands, Winchester Hatfair, The National Theatre, Salisbury International Festival, IF: Milton Keynes International Festival Flipside Festival, Singapore, Festival A/D Werfe, Pazz Festival, Germany
