Pestiferous devises accessible pop up performances for everyday spaces.
Led by Mary Eddowes, the company is an umbrella for professional dancers, street performers, choreographers and artists who are keen to have a collaborative and cross-discipline approach to their work. They use dance, clown, physical theatre, music and sometimes text to present absurd events to unsuspecting audiences.
The company began creating work in 2011, the first being walkabout act the Weirdy Beardies, followed in spring 2013 by circle show the Nerdy Birdies – Bird Cabaret and in autumn 2013 new indoor site-specific show The Librarians.
