It’s the Day of the Carpenter and to celebrate the yearly occasion, our two brothers polish their tools and gather their planks of wood, to appear before an assembled crowd and rejoice in the beauty of their craft. With screwdriver in one hand and nail in the other, they set to work. The sawdust flies and the sweat does drip. Lyrical voices and the pounding of hammers fill the air, as our two brothers measure and mark and stumble and sing and cut and bleed with a vengeance until finally, improbably, unbelievably, the result of their labor stands: a magnificent homage to the wonder of wood and the skill of the humble carpenter who built it.
“TIMBER” – 40 minutes of testosterone and tunes, clumsiness and grace.
