Teatr Osmego Dnia has been the recipient of several awards, including the Fringe First Award at Edinburgh Festival in 1985 and the prestigious Polish Konrad Swinarski Prize in 1994. More than fifty original productions have been created by Teatr Osmego Dnia and been shown in almost every country in Europe, as well as in Latin America and Asia.
The group has also participated in significant international theatre project. Since 1992, Teatr Osmego Dnia’s own theatre in the centre of the city of Poznań has become one of the most important centres of independent culture in Poland.
