Founded in 1982, Transe Express creates magical and imaginative small, middle and large-scale shows in unconventional spaces. The productions are unique adventures that transform cities and invite the audience to escape their everyday reality.
The company specialises in interventionist theatre and what we call ‘Celestial Art’. The motivation is to provoke interaction with the public and to play with the urban surroundings.
We use all kinds of artistic expressions to express ourselves; percussion, visual arts, circus skills, fireworks, literature, metallurgy, opera, rock, dance and of course theatre. These are cornerstones of our philosophy to create shows ‘without boundaries’.
