Circostrada CS Lab#5 in Manchester and West Yorkshire

The Art of Leadership: How can we initiate positive and lasting change in our organisations? And how can this help us strengthen the Street Arts and Circus sectors?

From 21 – 23 April XTRAX is co-organising CS Lab #5 in Manchester and West Yorkshire with Circostrada, the European Network for Circus and Street Arts.

CS Lab #5 will bring together a network of emerging cultural leaders to engage in a range of practical skills workshops, focussed discussions and inspirational talks addressing the topics of leadership, equality and advocacy in the Outdoor Arts sectors.

Over three days the group will focus on themes of inclusivity and diversity, reflecting on the constitution of our workforce, audiences and programmes; asking whether the Outdoor Arts sector is as diverse and accessible as it appears to be and explore how to make a step-change.

Speakers include:
Bettina Linstrum, Creative Consultant and Coach, Art sAgenda
Michael Hoar, Independent Coach and Expert Facilitator
Lucy Kerbel, Director and Founder of Tonic Theatre

CS Lab has been designed specifically for mid-career outdoor arts professionals and producers with a strong desire to innovate and lead change within the Street Arts and Circus sectors.

This CS Lab is open to 15 participants (10 Circostrada members and 5 professionals invited by XTRAX). Click here to find out more.
