Earlier this month, Maggie and Irene joined Circostrada on a research trip to South Korea.
The trip gave us the chance to meet promoters and festivals representatives from China, Japan, Singapore, Russia and Taiwan to name a few and reconnect with our colleagues from Belgium, France, Portugal, and South Korea – many of whom we last saw at this year’s XTRAX/Freedom Festival Showcase.
Audiences at the Seoul Street Arts Festival were treated to four performances of BLOCK, by NoFit State Circus and Motionhouse, one of the most successful shows to come out of the UK in recent years.
We would like to say a huge “gomapseumnida” (thank you) to our good friends at Seoul Street Arts Festival and Circostrada for the opportunity. We’d also like to say thank you to Motionhouse who we shared a stand with at the Performing Arts Market Seoul, giving us another platform to promote the fantastic work happening across the UK outdoor sector.
