The XTRAX team attended the Internationale Kulturbörse Freiburg (IKF) in February 2016, and hosted a stand representing the UK Street Arts Sector.
IKF is one of Germany’s largest marketplace event, hosting 350 exhibitors ranging from arts organisations, agents, artists, event’s organisers, and industry media companies through to technical suppliers. In addition to this, the IKF is the host for over 180 live performances from all art forms (theatre, dance, music, comedy, cabaret and street theatre). The event attracts 4,000 visitors each year from Germany and further afield.
The IKF was a very useful event which allowed the team to make strategic connections and meet with some of the major outdoor festivals in Germany. This has also allowed us to develop a better understanding of the German Street Arts scene.
We plan to return to the IKF in January 2017 as an exhibitor to continue developing links with strategic organisations from Germany.
