Producer Jin Yim from South Korea was in residence at XTRAX in summer 2023, working with us to develop connections between UK and South Korean artists and festivals.
Jin visited many organisations and individuals during her time in Manchester, and worked with XTRAX to organise a delegation of Korean festivals to visit Stockton International Riverside Festival (SIRF) in August, as well as delivering a presentation about Street Arts in South Korea as part of our programme of professional meetings at SIRF.
We are continuing to build a partnership with Jin to promote international connections and exchange between Korean/Asian and UK/European artists and festivals, beginning with two UK companies, Company Chameleon and Ray Lee, presenting their work at Ansan Street Arts Festival in May 2024.
