Andrew Ellerby, Arts Council England (ACE), Relationship Manager, Combined Arts
ACE is England’s main artistic funding body operating three main streams of funding. Grants for the Arts, an open access, application based scheme for individuals and organisations, this is lottery funded and is open all year round. Secondly National Portfolio Organisations, these are regularly funded organisations for three years, across scale and art form and finally Strategic Funding streams (including Catalyst/Strategic Touring amongst others). Strategic Funding encompasses numerous reactive and proactive opportunities for accessing funding.
As an ex Grants for the Arts Officer with a background in Combined Arts, Visual Arts and Dance, and a current RM for Combined Arts, I am well placed to advise on any Arts Council funding stream.
I am RM for the following portfolio of organisations: Greenwich and Docklands International Festival / Thames Festival/ Home Live Art / Watermans / Mandinga / Shademakers, Nutkhut and ISAN.
These embody a wide range of outdoor arts organisations and point towards my cross art form expertise. I also have a strong focus on Circus, LGBTQ work, Live Art, Dance and Visual arts.
