Preston Guild 2012 will be a vibrant and exciting event that reflects Preston?s position as a city of significance to the Northwest region. It will place Preston at the heart of the county of Lancashire, and demonstrate that it is a great place to live, visit, learn and work, with a world class offering of culture, arts, music and sport. The Guild will enhance the self esteem and pride of the people of
Preston in their city. It will be inclusive and welcoming, and will provide opportunities for everyone to take part and benefit.
Although Guild activity will take place throughout the year there is a particular focus on the first two weeks in September.
