Shapeshifter Productions

Shapeshifter was formed to provide a platform from which to develop and produce an outdoor, large-scale combined arts show called WILDFIRE! which attracted R&D funding from Arts Council England over two years. The show was commissioned by Homecoming Scotland and Creative Scotland in 2009 to showcase an abridged version in St Andrews, where we partnered with The Byre Theatre and Arts in Motion, who helped us deliver the production. Our creative multi-disciplinary team consists of world class artists, led by an Artistic Director and producer with extensive experience in the industry.
In 2013, our violin group for adults was awarded The BBC Community Performing Arts Fund and a grant from ACE to devise and perform an original piece of music called “Express Symphony” at six festivals across East London.
Our community programme with elderly people, The Smiling Sessions, has developed over three years, establishing partnerships with key care and sheltered home providers across East London reaching over 1000 elderly residents.
