The Stables is a small alternative education project for young people 14-18+ in York. We offer a supported opprtunity to investigate and develop in personally chosen directions. We offer studies in the visual and performing arts, permaculture, global studies and basic skills. We also run community arts events. In 2007/08 we plan to develop a carnival arts course, and a puppetry studies course with Arts Award accreditation. Our roles in this programme are tutors and administrators.
