Tit for Tat is an unusual juggling company that believes in celebrating the ordinary; finding the most ridiculous ways of getting from A to B. By extracting chaos from normality, we create absurd scenes that audiences can relate to; connecting people through laughter and self-mockery.
Our work exists in the gap between Circus and Theatre. We mix high technical skill level with narrative and theatre to create performances that are rich in both character and spectacle. This puts us right at home in the outdoor arts, where circus is often portrayed as a series of tricks and theatre can lack dynamic display.

In a time where political uncertainty seems to grow by the day, we create work that aims to connect and highlight the peoples’ similarities.
