  • Artist
Matthew Harrison has worked in many different artistic fields over the past 15 years primarily as a film maker and animator to engage people of all ages and abilities in creative activity and participation. The majority of his animation work combines traditional hands on techniques with modern technology. Matthew has also delivered and managed several outdoor mural projects involving the coordination of large numbers of people. He strongly believe in the value of physical interaction between people and objects and the need in modern day society for real life experience and participation. Matthew has worked with SeaChange Arts for a number of years delivering workshops and projects and over the last two years has become more involved in Out There Festival working on the site dressing and décor at the festival and the development of the Drill House in terms of construction and fabrication.

Matthew's new work, The Actual Reality Arcade uses visual art to create a participatory installation; a life-sized interactive games zone based on classic computer games and arcade machines for audiences of all ages.
