HOME is a mass participation project that engaged 3,432 participants from across Middlesbrough to produce a 45-minute promenade piece that examined what the notion of HOME meant to these different communities.
Dancers aged 7 to 73 took part, representing a genuinely diverse cross-section of Middlesbrough life: South Asian dance groups, LGBTQIA+ communities, Afrobeat dancers, learning-disabled adults, asylum seekers and refugees, sewing circles from Hemlington, and many more.
