NDP Circus’ ‘Notre Dame de Paris’ celebrates Victor Hugo’s 1831 novel through a mixture of circus, theatre and dance. Our adaptation shares the excitement and complexity of this human drama, emphasising its relevance to all people in all societies.

From the mayhem of the court of miracles to the tragedy of Esmeralda’s passionate naivety, the diverse and multi-talented international cast deliver a stunning adaptation of this timeless classic. Staged in a traditional circus ring and featuring a 12 metre high representation of Notre Dame cathedral, NDP Circus bring Hugo’s story to life with a heady mix of horses, fire, dance, music, circus and melodrama.
With unique staging and costumes inspired by its 15th century Parisian setting, this production is not to be missed.
The show can be performed in English or French and also incorporates Latin, Farsi and Arabic.
