Featuring a variety of Manchester’s diverse leading poetry performers in a captivating curated selection of short films. Working with Catalan poetic translators, the films take viewers on a journey through poetry that talks about identity, unity, resistance and resilience – and a number of Catalan poets will be invited to share work about Barcelona in Manchester in 2026.
OUR CITY SPEAKS will feature works by Anjum Malik, Jova Bagioli Reyes, Nasima Bee and Ali Al-Jamri.
