Family Friendly Circus Theatre.

“Sharing communal delight in the raptures of flight”.

Join us on our adventurous journey with a magical mystery bird across land and sea.

Taking Flight warmly welcomes families, and specifically offers a fully accessible performance to blind and visually impaired audiences. It tackles environmental issues in a way that celebrates nature, friendship and how one can sustain the other. Audiences seated inside a huge birds nest designed for tactile exploration, are invited into a rich and colourful world, brought to life through an immersive aural soundtrack and striking visuals using aerial performance.

Taking Flight is ideal for outdoor venues and with a small cast of only three performers, this show is perfectly suited for current government guidelines and safety measures. It celebrates connection and solidarity, not just with each other but with the nature that surrounds us.

Running at 25 minutes, it’s an ideal addition to an outdoor festival programme.

RoguePlay also offers fully accessible participatory workshops, preceded with touch tours open to all. The workshops are subject to local and national safety guidelines during the time of CV-19 epidemic.
