Anna likes to keep things neat and tidy, she doesn\\\’t like mess, she likes things to be in order. But her whole world is turned upside down when she is magically transported to the Rain Forest discovering wonders she’s never seen before. Wild creatures appear and dance before her as she swings through the jungle of her dreams. But when her new home is put in danger, can she let go and become the wild Tarzanna she needs to be in order save her new found friends?

Background
The Gramophones have been making and touring theatre to small-scale venues for 6 years. We have a passion for telling stories in an inventive playful way with a focus on women’s voices. In 2012 New Perspectives mentored us under their Step-Up Company programme and in 2014 we were selected by Curve as a Breakthrough Company. We have been commissioned by First Art, Creative Arts East and Derby Feste to make work.
