The Kingfisher and the Damselfly is an interactive, participatory project for everyone, featuring disabled and non-disabled dancers comprising an aerial dance performance, ‘have a go’ sessions and workshops leading to performance. We also offer where possible Cocoons in the Woods rest and relaxation sessions.
The new 30-minute performance of iridescent blue hovers and darts high above the ground, set on the spectacular 6m high dome rig with music and rhyme, viewed in the round. It’s interactive and playful: audiences will be invited to instigate a spin, hoist props and performers during the show!
