The LINE is a large-scale line of choreography, which can involve up to 100 participants. It brings different people of different backgrounds, ages and abilities together forming a unique event of agreement, excitement and extravagance.
The material is both simple and complex and becomes multi-layered as it develops, using a Mexican wave-like structure and uniquely composed music surrounds the event.
Appearing out of the crowd, in popular and unusual sites, audiences will be able to stand and wait to see the event or just ?happen? upon it whilst out shopping in the city.
Collision was founded in 2004 by Artistic Director, Lisi Perry. This Northwest based dance company concentrates on performing and producing accessible, highly physical and original work. The company aims to break down the conventions of stereotypical audiences, by taking the work out to the audiences and by exploring alternative ways of performing in theatres and non-theatre spaces
