Action d’Espace

Action d’Espace is a french dance/theatre company, created by François Rascalou in 2007.
Now choregrapher and author of the shows, he used to work with Jackie Taffanel as a dancer, in the same taste of intense dancing experimentation.
In 2012, public space becomes Action d’Espace’s stage and experimentation land. « Sons of men » evoked memories of Algerian War. Sons seek their roots, look and question the father figure. That searched for a reflection. In the guise of the son emerges those of a father.
Becoming a father imself, François Rascalou wrote “First Cry” in order to talk about this vortex between desire, ignorance and fear : Give Life.
The text, full of poetry is carried by the dance, full of emotion, in an intimate relation with the audience.
