Gisele Edwards is an experienced award winning performer and aerialist of 15 years. She trained at NCCA, Central School of Speech and Drama and Lecoq in Paris. She is winner of the Festival of Firsts (Royal Opera House) and recipient of the Jerwood Prize for Circus. She was a co-founder of SHUNT and has worked with Trevor Nunn, Simon McBurney (Theatre de Complicite), Lucy Bailey, Scarabeus, at Anthony Gormley’s Studio, with the London Symphony Orchestra and the Millennium Dome show among others. Her musical collaborations with classical musicians, initiated over seven years ago, are the springboard for her new production, “Divertimento for Rope & Strings”.
