Mr and Mrs Clark are Gareth Clark and Marega Palser.
They have been making performances together since 2001. Their early works tested the couples notion that there are no bad ideas, just ideas, and they have created absurd, darkly humorous and moving dance, theatre and installation pieces in a bid to connect and communicate with audiences. More recently the Clarks have established a reputation for creating performance work that engages their local community in an attempt to bring people together to talk about the change in the physical and political landscape. Their show SMASH IT UP was short listed for the Amnesty International Freedom of Expression Award at the Edinburgh Fringe.
