A GRAND BOLLYWOOD MUSICAL WITH A SMALL BRIT-ASIAN LOVE-STORY
Ten winners of BollyIdol (the nationwide search for young Asian talent), star in a modern story about young decisions, family values and honour. Suhani is a young ambitious British Asian girl with a fiancé-to-die-for a great circle of friends, a highly paid job plus a hectic social calender. What more could a girl ask for?
Suhani’s life soon begins to crumble, when her fiancé Amar gets cold feet and work whisks her off to investigate strange disappearances at a dance school in India. Amidst the bustle of traders, beggars, thieves, hustlers and rickshaw-wallahs, shrouded by the noise and smells, of Precious Bazaar Suhani meets a formidable headmistress, the mighty MP Gursevak Chauhan and his son… who wants Suhani for himself.
A spectacular extravaganza full of comedy, drama, fashion, vibrant dances to music by Bally Sagoo and Raghav with never forgotten Bollywood songs.
